We have attempted to make a tree just as your cat would find in
nature. We start with a solid natural wood post, implant real catnip,
and cover the post with a natural woven sisal hemp material. This
woven sisal wears better than the rope sisal, as the fibers are
smaller and perfect for cat's paws. Cats greatly prefer a rough
material to scratch on over the soft carpeted posts which are found
so often today. In addition, the sisal material will last many times
longer than carpet and while initially more expensive will give
greater economy over a period of time. A post your cat will actually
use instead of your residential furnishings. Sisal colors are natural
and blend with any setting.

THE KATNIP TREE
The Katnip Trees come in two sizes: the large and medium models. The LARGE TREE is 28 inches high and is recommended as it gives the cat extended surface to scratch and exercise on. The base is of heavy material and is a 16” square.
The MEDIUM TREE is 20 inches high and otherwise the same as the large tree. The base is a 12” square.
The large tree is preferred internationally and recommended by “The New Natural Cat”, “The Natural Cat”, “Cat be Good”, Martha Stewart’s Living Magazine, October 2002, and many other publications. Several of these are listed on our publications page and, in due time, I shall add the others who have been kind enough to recommend our product.
The increase in price is necessary to "keep up" with the increases in costs of materials and shipping.

SCRATCHING BOARD
The Scratching Board is covered with sisal material and can be set up in any limited space. It measures 12 by 16 inches.
We ship by Fed Ex Ground and add shipping and handling charges to all orders.
For orders of six or more, we give a 20% discount.

THE FELIX CLIMBER
The FELIX CLIMBER is a three sectional floor to ceiling model constructed of the same material as the Katnip Trees – solid natural wood and natural sisal covering.
The Climber gives your cat a place to climb and exercise even in residential dwellings. The sections have resting platforms between them, are all joined firmly together, and anchored to the ceiling with a compression spring assembly. The climber can be set up anywhere, moved anytime, and easily dismantled with no harm to the ceiling. The platforms are large enough for a cat to nap on or relax and look out of a window. Each climber is custom made to the height of your ceiling to assure a proper fit. Please indicate the ceiling height when ordering. The standard climber goes up to 8 and ½ feet.
